Is lime stone based gravel or rocks if put in tropical aquariums
considered dangerous to the fishes?
eg: marble rocks or coral or any other rocks that is composed of CaCo3 ? you can check that by putting a small piece of the rock in vinegar or any type of acid, if it produces bubbles, so it is lime.

I won a 55 gallon aquarium and stand and don’t know what to fill it with.
I’ve had smaller freshwater aquariums with various goldfish and guppies. I even had a couple of Piranhas.
I like the color and beauty of saltwater fish but don’t like all the upkeep required to the tank.
Are sharks hard to take care of and what kind of fish can be with them?
Do I need a fluval style canister for a 55? If I get one, do I still need a bio wheel?

I have a 29 gallon tank and I am sick of freshwater aquariums so I want to take a shot at a saltwater aquarium. I really like the coral reefs so I want to make it like that. Where should I ever start. Links would be nice to. Thank you!
